Recovery from homelessness is our priority. When immigrants or refugees are subjected to incarceration or experience homelessness, there is a risk of misplacing their legal documentation. Our agency will explore all necessary means to get back on track for those trapped refugees and immigrants with no means to recover. We provide case management to help file for document retrievals, job searches, and housing connections. Our agency will also assist in securing the necessary travel papers for those who need to return to their native country for the purpose of recovery.
Legal representation is one integral component of our programs. Numerous immigrants and refugees are behind bars in almost every state throughout the country. Many of these people are incarcerated for crimes in which they might receive lighter sentences if represented by a trustworthy legal counsel. While we are not a legal agency, our goal is to hire well-qualified legal experts to fight for the rights of these immigrants and refugees under the U.S. legal system.
Refugees and immigrants are vulnerable in the American culture and legal system. Our goal is to inform them of legal tricks that quickly get people in trouble in the U.S. We create a cultural and legal tricks lesson to help both newcomers and homeless immigrants learn and understand better.
Individuals experiencing homelessness are often exposed to several life-threatening hazards, including violence, extreme weather conditions, and illnesses. When the deceased individual is an immigrant or refugee, the onus of duty often rests with the local community members, imposing a financial burden on those who assume this responsibility. ACRR-USA will assist refugees and immigrant local communities with grievance costs.
Arizona is among the country's hottest states. We will provide the homeless community with cold water and ice cream during the scorching summer months. We will drive our van around to find thirsty and hungry homeless people on the streets.
During the winter months, it is sometimes chilly in Phoenix, and many homeless people who live under bridges and bus stops might run out of blankets and sheets to cover themselves. We will provide light blankets for every homeless person we can find.
